This is some BULLSHIT!!!
So, I get to my driver and we are doing my timecard and all that.
Then he lets me know that he didn't have a check for me. The reason being that I have to had already worked a week, to get paid. So, since I worked this whole week, I won't get a check til NEXT friday.

::SHAKES and Shakes both fist in mifffling manner::

But, it was okay. The day was short. Only had 86 drops, and BigRoad pickup.
However, Driver got a message from the boss, and was told to not keep me for long today cuz work was light. So, I worked a 2hr day. So, its okay.
Ate my packed lunch when I got home.

Then did dishes. Litter may need a doing later....

But, now just de-worked and relaxed.
Gone get some reading in (I'm 4more away from the goal), so that will be nice.
Maybe watch something.

Today was my 1st day on with the Driver, helping deliver packages.
My shift started today at 12:30p.
We had to meet at the Wawa in shippack at route intersection of 113/73.
So, the Driver introduced himself and talked a lil about what the job is and all that.
In addition to it being my 1st day, it was HIS first day back to the job, from being on leave from a work injury. I didn't pry, so I don't know what the deal is.
But, the guy was awesome!
We had about 120-128 stops to make, all with anywhere from 1 to 4 packages each.
The work is fast, constant and strenuous. my legs were burning from it all.
good thing I'm in ninja shape.
The heaviest package was maybe 35-43lbs, But I had to walk up a long driveway to a big nice house.
Didn't have any dog interactions this run (Tho a white german shepard was staring at me on one of the runs).
But we made a awesome team. Driver was happy to have me aboard.
Tho, it sounds like I may be teamed up with another driver for tomorrow.
That would suck, but not too badly.
After we got done, he drove me back to our meeting spot, and I drove home.
my shift ended at 4:30p.
Not bad for a first day.

But man, I am beat.
And just cleaned the dishes, and did liter.
I swear, I can't get a break...oh well

Hardworkin nigga I am!

I went to my interview today for UPS.
The Drive is not bad, traffic wasn't horrible and I know how to get there, without my GPS.
I arrive, and wait with all the other applicants. It was PACKED! But, I got a seat, so I was happy.
We all went over the requirements for the position (clean shaven, nice hair, no earrings or visable and uniform). yeah, I have to shave my goatee! :(
But, if its for a job I may enjoy, fuck it! I can't afford to be choosy.
Anyway, it was awesome! Most of the guys there had facial hair, so we all were chatting and crackin jokes about that.
We had to give our 2 forms of ID, and when I busted out my wallet, I got a few chuckles.
I went in for my interview, and the chickie was all about me.
We chatted nicely and just cut loose. I'm diggin the vibe I got from this.
But, I have orientation tomorrow @ 9a. I will be getting my uniform and possible going out into the field for hands-on Training.

But, for now its the waiting game. They're currently doing a background check.
So, once all that is done and all is good..... I will have a job!

Om-ing my way to the light

So, today was a lil bit of a day.

I went to Wifey's Dr's visit with the Derma doc, and the prognosis is "she scratches it, there for, it itches".
Fuckin Annoyed!
So, she will be doing another regime of lotion and meds.
yay....::does the "whoop de do circle motion"::

I went to giant to get her script. Came back homw and went to sleep.

Woke up round' 2p and did house shit: dishes, cleaned the deep fryer and general tidying.
Returned our rental of "Angels & Demons", based on the book by Dan Brown.

Later, did some Job Hunting.
I checked my work-related email, and I saw that I got a response from UPS.
like in my most recent post, I hit them up 3times, including an in person apply.
So, I went back to the site as instructed in the email, filled out the forms and all.
As instructed, if I saw on the site after completing the form "if the site says 'no appointments available, call this number', to do so.
I called and got a immediate answer... then put on hold.
WTF!
Anyway, the nice lady informed me that there were training and interviews being held at the UPS hub in West Chester on Thurs and Fri @ 9:30a.
I jumped on tomorrow's list, and will be going out there and learning what will be up.
I went for the Driver's assistant, which entails helping load and un-load packages and so forth. Its a very casual meeting (sadly, I can't wear my mohawk up).
But, I think I may have a shot!
UPS does do Druc-Screenings, but I ain't worried about that. I have been persistant on my sans-green intake and have up my fluid intake (green tea, Cranraspberry juices, water) so I know I'm going to be as clear as a bright sunny day.

We shall see what comes of this.

:D

Yesterday afternoon, I made a call to a Berks & Beyond, and temp to perm staffing assistance company. I spoke with a nice young lady and she let me know that I could just walk in, fill out an application, bring 2 forms of I.D. and be dressed professionally.
So, I was a lil excited. I thought I land the quickest interview EVER! heheheh!
Anyway, I let my household know this, and broman was down to come with.

So, this mornin, I pop up, get showered and dress all G.Q. and get ready to attack the day. Broman asked me what time I was rollin out, and if he had time to prepare.
The girl let me know that it was optimum to show up between 8a-3p. I wanted to be out the door by 1p. So, like a flash, broman was showered and dressed in minutes! I was in fuckin awe! I couldn't do that! I primp and preen too much for that shit! I like to look good, what can I say...it's a process.
::shrug::

Anyway, we get there, and no one else is looking like us. Which was a lil disappointing, but fuck it. We looked AWESOME!
So, we go and get our papers to fill out and all. We were there for like a good 45min - 60mins. This place did do drug screenings... which I'm not worried about.....
But we wouldn't get to that until they company had something that fit our skills.

Which brings me to a bit of annoyance.....
How can you be over-qualified? That does not compute!
The lady (which was the same girl I talked to, and was a Bbw of a lady. sweet as can be), was in pleasantly struck by my skills, as much as the last guy (I assumed she meant broman, cuz he was finished his paper work before me, and some lady went in after him, then me).

We get done, and we talked about all that.
Stop by Mc D's for lunch, then headed back to town.
We decided to hit a few spots on the way. Broman hit up WaWa, but they had Hired someone Yesterday. So he is a lil burned and all about that, today.
I went and hit UPS that is in town. This will be the 3rd application I filled. The first 2 were on-line.

I also did a few callbacks just now, to some places I applied to and called right after. So, maybe something will bite.

But, thats for the Job Front.

I submitted my claim for uc benefits, so I have a lil bit of a floater for the minute.

Time to workout a lil.
later

This year, We household decided to do a small family style thanksgiving.
My grandma wasn't doing anything for this year, for none of the other family folks were able to comeout to the house (Grandma's house, which is the family house and Has been since before I was born). So we decided to do the usual Boston Market holiday meal!

Before that tho, We all went over to Broman's Friends house to say hello to his Dying Grandpa. His Friend left him at home, to go hangout with his girlfriend and get laid.
WTF! Seriously! I thought broman was a douche`..... damn! This guy wrote the BOOK on Douchery! But, broman is still.....a douche`.
lol

After about 15-30min, went out and got our boat-load of Boston Market.
Now, Next year, I am going to do a turkey. Fuck that! Someone in my house will know how to do one. I have made one before, and it wasn't bad. Just took for fuckin ever!
But, next year is a year I'm doing the cooking. Damn fuckin Str8!

But it was nice to hang with both Wifey and Broman.
We all do our own thing so much, that no one thinks about it.
Plus, Since I haven't been smoking green for so long, its not as fun of a hangout.
But I did partake this holiday for those 2 days, and now it has been back on Hiatus til, whenever. Back to increased fluids, back to relentless workouts (help move things along) and so on.

Now, this is not saying that I can't hangout with folks if Im not smoking.
But it is a lil easier. I don't have to put anybody out of a room that I am occupying, or leave a room once smoking has started.
But, that is what I have to do. I just read my books and stay focused on my task....
and I get to tease the stoned people!!!! Its all I got left, so I'ma have my fun!
>:D

Friday was pretty uneventful.
Just read my book and FINISHED IT. Now, that is my 17th book for this year.
Now on book 18 "Polyamoury: the NEW love without LIMITS by Dr Deborah M. Anapol.

Saturday was spent doing a lil BJ's Shopping and going to hang out with
Libertina. We went and helped put up her window energy saver kits, and that went marvelously. She then cooked for us: Delicious Kenyan Greens and Some Chicken Raff?
The point is, girl can cook! delicious!! nom nom nom~
I also brought down a bit of my Lijah Pie for her, and she was ever so happy and appreciative. We Sat and watched "Skeleton Key", and awesome Hoodoo flick. Some of the things they talk about, I have read in the things I researched for New orleans Voodoo. So, that made me happy. Plus I haven't watched it for a long time.
check it out!

<lj-embed id="16" />

We than played this game together. I think it was called "The stars are right"?
Its a game were you are a summoner, and you call forth creatures of the underworld.
And it has Cthulu!!!
So you have to change the star pattern in the sky, to match what is on the card you want to play. The star pattern are tiles, which is like the playing board.
It was a complicated beginning, but after that wore off, it was a fuckin awesome game!
For details, you would have to ask Libertina.

I even got a hottie pair of nipple clamps!
geeky girl figured out what she needed to make them and made a few sets.
AND she gave me a set!!! ::bounce bounce!!::

Talked to my Girl Danu for a bit, through text... And being mercilessly Teased for it.
LOL

But, that was the last few days.
Hope all you bitches had a nice gobble gobble.

Yesterday, broman & I were getting ready for Band Practice.
He was having some issues with his Modulus 5-string bass, and wanted/needed some help with it. It required a Sodering procedure, for the power supply connection cuplar for the Pickups (the Magnets on the bass that "pick up" the sound from the strings, caused by the vibration of strings when you strum them to make sound). So, I sat down, got the sodering gun out and proceeded to fix it. And I did, of course cuz I'm fuckin awesome!!
He went upstairs to sound check it, and it worked! Sounded very fine!
:)

Then, less than 5min before we depart, He comes to me with a odd question:
"hey! Is Lil Kev's mom's last name Coxe? Cuz I think you called her "Mrs. K", and I couldn't figure out if there was something I missed. I think she even made a face after that". My retort was "I think I called her "Mrs. C". He then came back with "No, Im certain you called her "mrs. K". I wouldn't be asking you if I didn't hear that!" My response to this "Okay, I hear you, but I was Certain I called her "Mrs.C". He then jumps into this yelling Tirade about, and this is verbatim "Why do you have to fight me on every little thing, Lijah!! You always argue EVERYTHING I Fucking Say to you! Seriously, Man! It's not that big of a fucking deal!! I was Just Curious!!!".
Needless to say, I was taken aback. I then replied "whoa, dude. Take it easy. It's not that important. Its just a minor thing. I'm not pissed or anything. If I did, fine. Whatever. Not a huge deal".

Now, during a break between songs in practice, we all go out for a smoke (Lil Kev & broman have ciggies, I dont until I'm finished singing), he pipes up with "You know, Lijah... we are both fallable and make mistakes and all. It would just be helpful to have you recognize that you are not perfect and can see where you may have said something that was a lil off", Or something like that. I asked "Are you still going on about that? Dude, I moved on from it. I'm chill".
Then he goes "CAN'T YOU FUCKIN SEE I'M Trying to APOLOGIZE!!!! you know what, fuckit!! Fuckit! fuckit! fuckit!" and is doing (well, trying to give me the silent treatment.
Still, today, he isn't talking to me, which is fine. I don't care. It's his issue and when he is ready to stand up, on his own 2 feet like a toddler, and begin to walk...
then we will hash this out.
But, as I said before, he has a pattern of shit. Being nice when it suites him, then just blows up about shit.
Now, he has been a lil stressed with his money situation, and I can see that.
But taking it out on me, for something soo little? Fuck him.
To further add, all this was waay after I let him know that he could come with me to my Grandma's house for Turkey day.
If he hasn't handled his shit by then (which, he has a day), I will make sure he is not coming with me to that event.
He doesn't know just how cold, mean, venegeful and hateful I can be.
I ain't playin his game, anymore.

::Calm storm brews. I have an Idea for a werewolf story to do with it. The next thing was Bromans Idea of a spy tune.
I was playing around with some lyrics based on spys from Inspector Gadget(yes, I know he is more a detective), 007, Pink Panther and Super Secret Squirrel. Pretty fun stuff! Broman got all salty
and was all talking bout re-writing it, cuz he didn't want my humorous lyrics in his music. LOL!!!!!!!!
Sounds like someone is feeling the heat!!
GOOD!!!
But it was a good JAM. I look forward to the next time we practice.
The presentation was nice
The Presenter did a good job!
But, nah.... I'm not jumping on that boat.
There was a total of 6 people in the office/conference room (including me). The vibe at the time was still nice and neutral. We all went around after the presenter introduced himself, and did our introductions.

A cool & funny thing about it, was when we all were going around and telling a bit about ourselves, and it came to my turn, I got applauded!
yeah, the presenter was all clapping for me when I was done
I just simply said this:
"My name is Elijah Wallace. Im a hardworking and creative person at heart. I'm geeky and interesting, as In I like to read, video-game and do PC related things. Just a cool way to say I'm weird <insert chuckle="chuckle">. I own my own business, a self proprietorship for graphic design. I recently hail from a design company Yell Adworks, where we designed the advertisements in yellow book. I'm here looking to find something to push myself to make myself, better than myself that I already am and interested in a worthy challenge".

At the end, when the presenter when to the rest room, one of the guys in there ask me "Did you memorize all that? <chuckle>
I told him "No. That was all real. That is all me. All that was straight from the Cow's Teat"
he then nodded, and got quiet and receded back to his chill position in his chair

The Pineracle Group work for the companies that have a lil bit of a shady aspect to them (honeywell, monotronics)like, people that get pulled into this, get stuck in hard contracts, and become grumpy.
I read that about them from the post from one of the communities.
So, after about 90mins of hearing about the system they promote, and all the stories... I had enough. During a Break, I left.
I knew from all that, it wasn't something I wanted to do. Additionally, for sales related things, you usually need to have some kind of licensing or certification to be able to do the work. They were going to be talking about money things, so I knew they would've gone into those details too.

So, that was that.
A good learning experience... to say the least.

We get it with the toppings on TOP of the cheese and have it made welldone. It's Extra tasty when the toppings are just crispy! fuckin Bangin!!!!!).

Once our few guest arrived (I picked Danu up from the train station, so she was the first one there), We busted out the Kittie Pressies! I think Wifey and I will need to keep those in stock in the house. Seriously!

There was much talking and hanging out and laughing. It was a nice time.

After all the party died down, Danu, Wifey and myself Hung out upstairs and chatted about things, Including the progression of intimacy Between Danu and I. This Sat was also our 1 month Anniversary. It was all cute!
We talked about Me and Wifey's Safe sex style (getting ourselves std tested annually, having our immediate partners get std tested, safe and low-risk activities and what was comfortable for all of us). It was a wonderful, nice, non-aggressive or confrontational conversation. It was nice, for a change to absolutely not feel crazy or being in the wrong for OUR Practices (had one too many bad experiences with that).
It was soo refreshing! I tell ya, taht Danu is made of awesome! She absolutely gets it and agreed with everything. You know why? Cause it makes sense! :D

I played some BATMAN: Arkham Asylum (which Me and Wifey frickin' LOVE!!) and had the girls watch. They were quite entertained, back-seat gaming and helping me figure out some of the riddles and getting around silently.
Later, the girls got all sleepy, so there were naps had. I swear, I have a bunch of nap-happy bitches! lol!

later, there was fried foods (Mozz sticks) and movie. Danu had brought over Trick r' Treat (awesome halloween flick)
<lj-embed id="14" />
Later on, Danu and I had some time to ourselves.

~SUN~
Woke up, Made Wifey and Danu Egg in a Basket (cute lil brit breakfast)
and proceeded to take Danu back to the Station, so she could get home.
Drove back home to get Wifey and we both Drove down to MetalBro & She-ra's house.
Wifey had gotten a few cute lil toys for Sparra (She-ra and MetalBro's lil Pommeranian). He was all about those new balls!
::wags tail, barking happily and ripping and running with each throw of the ball::
The Wives had a cute lil date to Longwood Gardens. They took many a picture and were all cute, giggly and bubbly.
We Husbands (MetalBro & Myself) had a Man-Date! Not to be confused with an Authorative Command...LOL!!!

We Jammed on much metal! I tuned my Guitar while he was taking care of some Laundry.
Then, we warmed up with a random Jam. Then we went into some Metallica stuff.
We played: Harvester of Sorrow, Enter the Sandman, and Shortest Straw (well as much as both of us knew). Its been a bit since I riffed on those songs, and I do know most of them, Just not Krirk Hammet's Solo sections.
We then took a break and listened to some of the tracks that we played, to prime ourselves for the next jam. After that, I had him listen to some songs that I thought He would be able to knock-out, no problem: Fear Factory - Cars(Feat. Gary Newman) & Replica, Rammstein - Rammstein and a song off of REPO! Genetic Opera - Legal Assassin.
After 15mins, we descended back down into the basement to Metal some more!!!
We were Absolutely KILLING IT! Granted, we both missed some spots on all the tunes, but it still sounded tight!! MetalBro's Improvisational skill was amazing! I don't know why he and I haven't started a band... may have to change that soon.
We Nailed Cars! Nothing else to say about that one.
Then He went to take care of some other clothes, and I just played some other songs that I knew: TOOL - Lateralus, Eulogy and Aenima (which is his FAVORITE song. Total win on the cool points). Last tunes I think were Becoming the Archetype - the Monolith
and Metallica - To live is to Die.

We then re-emerged to the living room, and had a beer and talked more shop.
Then the Wives arrived and we ordered delicious food from Wingers (this awesome Chicken wings and things joint). I had the Liquid Fire wings, Wifey had Teriyaki boneless and MetalBro had the Honey BBQ. We both had the Kicker fries (Tatoe wedge-like fries with Mozzarella and Bacon). She-ra had some tasty indian food, but I can't recall what it was called.
It was a good time!

After that, I packed my gear and carted ourselves home.
Then at home, bear came over to hang out and that was chill.
I got to tease Wifey and him, while they puffed and that was fun.
Later, after Wifey went to bed, Bear and I watched some AdultSwim.
Checked out Venture Bros. (that show has gotten even more ridiculous), and the new start of METALOCALYPSE (It's BACK, and as Brutal as EVER!!).
He left after that, and I started my 17th Book Chuck Palahniuk's Lullaby.
Bed.

Job Interview - Sales/Managerial

<lj:music>Row Row fight the Power! from Anime "Gurren Lagan"</lj:music>

So today was my Job interview for Pinneracle Group (totally misspelled that).
Its an Entry level Sales/Managerial position.
My interview was at 10a this morning, in Pottstown. Not a bad drive, either.

So, I get into the suite, and meet Kevin/Chad. He was a awesome, soft spoken man.
Very Chill. I filled out the application, and put my resume and cover letter on the back of the clip board and handed it to him.

We then went into a small conference office and proceeded to "shoot the shit".
He asked about my experience with people (I illustrated how I was an intermedieary for the company reps at Yell adworks and the artist and how I helped them sell ads), he spoke about what the company is and does (The are a distributor for anti-theft, surveillance, and burglary hardware), and talked about the history of the company (they have been around for 9yrs, and have plans to expand in the next year or so).
He gave me the info about the pay rate, which was 2000$ base pay (better than any of the last salesman spots I went and interviewed for), but there would be some work involved, of course.

He was impressed with how I presented myself and how I spoke to him (and I bet my new outfit sold it, too! \M/). He was thrilled to see that, and in his words "you seem like a man that carries himself well." and "With what I can see and from what you have said, I think you would be a good fit here."

So, I have a 2nd interview on Tuesday, Nov 17th @ 9:45a, for orientation and all.

I think it went awesomely! I know its a sales/Manager position, but this one doesn't set me off like those last interviews I had for places like this. No one in the offices was stressed, frazzled or anxious and ansy. Everyone was nice and chill, cheerful, even!

He looked like he wanted to bring me right aboard!
But, we will see whats up on Tuesday.

later!

(what I am jammin to, now!)

<lj-embed id="12" />
